Programme aimed at novices and those returning to running. 

 

The programme will take you to 5K run and and above:

  • Small groups (10 to 15 participants) 

  • 10 week training plan, meeting once a week on Tuesdays

  • On-going support outside of the group sessions, including running at the Basingstoke parkrun

  • Supporting hand-outs 

Beginners Group takes place every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Yoga4Runners

 

The pain most runners feel is not from the running in and of itself, but from imbalances that running causes and exacerbates. If you bring your body into balance through the practice of yoga, you can run long and hard for years to come. Although yoga and running lie on opposite ends of the exercise spectrum, the two need not be mutually exclusive. In fact, running and yoga make a good marriage of strength and flexibility.

 

A Yoga4Runners session takes place every Thursday from 20:15 to 21:30 right after the running session at the Vyne School.
